Psychedelic six-piece BabyVanga have dropped their new single, ‘Cosmic Shifter’, out now via Strong Island Recordings. It’s a celestial track that glitters with the warmth of retro synth sounds and bouncy melodies. The influence of 60s psychedelic bands works its way into sounds inspired by the likes of Pond and early Tame Impala. Shifting rhythms and instrumental breaks that feel like you’re being transported into space define the track and show off the band’s unique, instantly recognisable sound.
